At the foot, a handwritten note: "Humbly prostrate at the feet of Your Holiness, Edouard Cozon and Jeanne Tresca ask for the Apostolic Blessing on the occasion of their marriage fixed for June 5, 1901, asking it also for themselves and all the members of their families". And below, mention of the blessing in Latin, with the claw of Cardinal Costantini and an embossed seal with the arms of the Vatican.
