Rare pilot's watch developed by Charles Lindbergh and Philip Van Horn Weems. This navigation tool allows with the help of a sextant and a nautical almanac to determine the minute of angle in relation to the Greenwich meridian (longitude). It is made of gold-plated steel. Rotating bezel. Rotating dial operated by a crown at 2 o'clock. Signed on the dial, the movement and on the case back. Case back clipped and engraved: LINDBERGH-LONGINES-HOUR-ANGLE WATCH INVENTED BY Col. Chas A Lindbergh. Leather strap with pin buckle.
