decorated in grisaille with seaside scenery in vignettes encircled by gold beaded netting and garlands of polychrome flowers and foliated scrolls in gold, the side grips in the form of a gold-bottomed ring.
Marked : VV in gold, Verneuilh and Vanier manufacture.
