SUGAR BOWL COVERED IN PORCELAIN
with polychrome decoration of flowers in rosette and foliage in a band on a blue agate background dotted with gold dots,
the side grips in the shape of a lion's head with a gold background.
Marked with the red vignette: crowned imperial eagle, imperial manufacture, Sèvres. In gold: C.S. fe Tz for 1813, and in green 16.76.
Empire period, year 1813.
H. 13 cm high.
Glued lid, restored gold wear on the lion heads.
This sugar pot is part of the cabaret blue agate background frieze of coloured daisies entered the shop of the Sèvres factory on April 22nd 1813 and delivered to the Government in December 1814 as a present.
