SEVRES FOOT SAUCER IN SOFT PORCELAIN with polychrome decoration of garlands of flowers around a medallion with a green background surrounded by gold palms in the centre, the edge underlined by green and gold foliage. Marked: LL interlaced, letter-date K for 1763, mark of the painter Cornailles. 18th century, 1763. D. 22,7 cm. Gold wear in the center and on the edge, three small chips on the edge. This foot saucer is probably part of the service purchased in 1763 by the Comptroller General of Finance of Louis XV, Henri Léonard Bertin. This service included 36 ice cream cups which rested on the foot saucers.
