BONAPARTE (Family). Handwritten notes and original drawings. [circa 1820]. 17 folio, i.e. 14 bound folios in one volume and 3 leaves (one in-folio, one in-4 and one in-12 oblong) mounted on posterior paper, fringed and brittle. The scholar who assembled this set carried with his hand some mentions on the cover of the volume and the supports of the 3 mounted leaves. - The scholar who put together this set carried with his hand a few notes on the cover of the volume and the supports of the three mounted sheets: "COLLECTION OF NOTES ON THE BONAPARTE FAMILY, followed by the birth certificates of the Bonaparte brothers and sisters, extracts from the originals deposited in the archives of the Ajaccio town hall". Acts from the 16th to the 18th century, in Italian, with French translations. - A drawing representing a navy, seen from a port. A later legend indicates that it is the one of Ajaccio. - A portrait of a moustached man misrepresented by a later legend as being a caricature of Napoleon I.
