Belgian Circulation Title Chassis 2795 H The Porsche-Diesel Standard 218, also known as the N 218, is the third generation of the two-cylinder Standard tractor series manufactured by Porsche-Diesel Motorenbau GmbH in Friedrichshafen am Bodensee. The Standard 218 was produced in four different variants and succeeded Type 208 as early as 1957. In total, the Porsche factory produced just over 12,000 Standard 218 tractors until 1963. It is considered to be the one that established the brand in this segment thanks to its measured cost, reliability and ease of operation. Equipped with the 1,644 cc air-cooled twin-cylinder engine developing 28 hp, the model we are presenting for sale has just over 5,300 hours of use. The red colour so characteristic of this model is complete with its guilloché aluminium dashboard, its lighting system and its additional seat installed on the left rear wing. A special feature of our model is that it is equipped with an optional three-point hitch system that is rarely found on this model. Very useful, this tractor will find its place in all good second homes in the country or in a collection. Equipped with a wooden bucket installed on this lifting system, there is no doubt that it will render many services with a very chic design of outdoor works! Registered for the first time on January 12, 1959, its restoration is old but of good workmanship, as is its operation, ready for use!
