L.A.S. "Henri Matisse", 132 Bd Montparnasse 1 December 1946, to Mrs Mary HUTCHINSON; 2 pages in-4, envelope.
Relating to the short film Henri Matisse, by François Campaux.
"A thousand thanks for the trouble you took about the invitations to the presentation of my film. I forwarded your lists to Mr. Campaux the author. He's leaving for London tomorrow Monday and will make, or rather send out his invitations. I hope the guests will be interested. I'm still here, held up by the completion of the work I started this summer. I'm returning to Vence on December 15th. I hope that this winter you will perhaps come to the French Riviera and that you will be willing to come to Vence to visit me" .
2 greetings telegrams are attached to the same one (1947 and 1950)
