Estienne, P. Mettayer & C. Prevost, ordinary printers of the Roy. 1634, with His Majesty's privilege; 13pp in-8° - (Antoine de L'AGE, Duke of PUYLAURENS, became attached to Gaston d'ORLÉANS, of whom he became a favourite and whom he directed in his intrigues. He pushed GASTON to reconcile with King LOUIS XIII and to break the marriage he had contracted with the sister of the Duke of Lorraine. He was rewarded by the Gift of the Seigniory of AIGUILLON, erected in the Duchy as a peerage under the name of PUYLAURENS (1634). But his favour did not last long. He was arrested and died in prison in the castle of Vincennes on July 1st 1635).
