[HUNGARIAN BIBLE] Pessti [Pest], Trattner- Károlyiho, 1853 & 1856. 3 parts in one volume small in-8° (110 x 171 mm), brown morocco, large chiselled copper plates decorating the dishes, dotted date at the foot of the first one, smooth back decorated with four ornate copper chains, clasps metal (period binding & 1910 for the metal frame). Mid 19th century Slavic Bible in three books or three parts (1853 & 1856) comprising: XIV + 1,184 pp. + (tables), 237 + [3] pp. & 108 pp. + [2] ff. (table). The collophons of the first and second parts are dated 1853 and 1856, and the relay title of the third part is of 1856. Two deficient leaves at the top, including the first page of the title; a 12-page booklet detached in the first part; a book of 8 ff. in deficit in the second one.
