Rare folded fan, the double sheet of paper engraved in green monochrome of a couple of musicians in a country setting, to be compared with the plates engraved for a fan by Louis Crépy, publisher of the rue Saint-Jacques in Paris, circa 1730.
On the sides, two cartels host seven verses of a pastoral beginning with "J'adore une aimable bergère (...)".
Reverse side engraved with a central cartel titled "Air tendre".
Bone frame cut out of repeated motifs.
