Kamper. 1641 (Panel cracks, restorations) 67 x 91.5 cm Our painting can be related to the Elegant Company in an interior by Kamper and is kept at the Rijksmuseum Muiderslot in Muiden. This is one of the few examples of the painter's activity in the genre scene, whose elegant style is reminiscent of that of Anthonie Palamedesz. Dated 1641, the painting corresponds to his period of activity in Leiden, where the painter joined the Guild of Saint Luke seven years later and spent most of his career.
