LIP Sport Chronograph Tachometer Circa 1925. Serial number: 31522. Pocket chronograph watch in 18K yellow gold, hand-wound, round shape. Graduated dial with 4 tachometric speed scales in different colours, capable of timing the fastest cars of the time. White enamelled dial with 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock, small seconds hand at 6 o'clock. Arabic numerals, gold hands and chronograph release, reset by pressing the push-piece at 12 o'clock. Diamond-shaped hallmark with a key framed by the letters SG of Société Générale Or, a watch case manufacturer founded in 1880. Mechanical movement, manual winding with anchor escapement, column wheel. The watch works but has not been overhauled. Diameter: 50 mm. Gross weight: 86.20 gr.
