Mid-19th century FRENCH school, based on a model by Jacques BOUSSEAU (1681-1740) Ulysses bending his bow Bronze with a brown patina. Bears the seal of the Vauvray Fres foundryman. H. 58 cm According to the reception piece presented by the artist to the Academy in 1715 and kept in the Louvre museum (N°inv.MR 1766).
