Exceptional rectangular box with two compartments. Dark wood (zitan?), inlaid on all sides with naturalistic motifs in hard stone (jade, soapstone and mother-of-pearl). The bottom in rosewood.
It is decorated with camellias, peonies, prunes and chrysanthemums.
The inlaid lid of a man carrying a sword near his horse greeting a scholar near a flock of sheep.
In the sky, clouds, moon and crowned crane.
