ORIGINAL EDITION illustrated with 192 copper vignettes and 254 engraved plates, including 4 folders, describing nearly 1000 species of French or exotic trees according to the Tournefort classification. This very large synthesis was worth to the author to write the botanical part of the Encyclopedia. Blunt corners, rings on a few leaves at the beginning of the first volume.
