The Christ, stripped of his clothes, waits for the hour of his torment sitting on a stylized tree trunk; his hands with clenched fists are superimposed and his wrists bound by a rope whose two ends fall to the ground; head surrounded by a large crown with intertwined branches carved in full; beautiful elongated face, with emaciated features and a half-open mouth; long hair with a spiral lock falling on the right shoulder; a slender silhouette, with a trunk with narrow shoulders and an unrealistic anatomy; the original presence of a banner on the ground passing over the right foot.
