Lion in chased, engraved and gilded bronze, foot probably of a reliquary. Lying down, his front legs extended, he turns his head to the left; crushed mufle, eyes with sunken pupils, round ears and long mane; tip of the tail resting on his back. Northern Italy, 14th century Height: 8.5 cm - Length: 14.5 cm (small gilt wear) Provenance: former collection Guy Onghena, Belgium, then by descent.
