Full plate ambrotype, 14,5x18,5 cm, some losses in angles, inscriptions on frame verso by collector Gimon: “Richebourg - Rosa Bonheur”
The NGA has a large ambrotype reproducing a 1857 portrait of Rosa Bonheur by Dubufe with the comment: “Bonheur had learned the process of photography in the 1850s and it is possible that she made this photograph.”
