BONAPARTE (Charles). Autograph letter signed "...

BONAPARTE (Charles). Autograph letter signed " De Buonaparte ", addressed [to Count Louis Joseph Vincent de Mondion d'Artigny]. Ajaccio, June 1, 1783. 2 pp. in-4. " ... I have just sent to my commissioner, in Marseilles, A PACKAGE FOR YOU ... CONTAINING TWO CRESPINS, AND THREE BOOKS OF FOAM which we had difficulty in getting picked up, because that of good quality has become rare, by dint of sending abroad, so that today we send to the merchants all kinds of mother's beard. The packet should cost you fifteen pounds all inclusive, and when you want moss, you will warn me in advance, and it will cost you, to get it good, thirty pounds a pound, and you can make cheap cadots. MADe DE BUONAPARTE [LETIZIA Ramolino] and moy, we are sensitive to the memory of mademoiselle de Mondion, and we ask you to assure her of our sincere attachment... »
