Provenance: Former Crozat collection, part of n°688 of Mariette's description "Six, idem, including the drawing for an altar painting, where is represented Saint Francis and Saint Barbara, and a Moor's head".
Former Mariette collection, its stamp in the lower right corner (L.1582) ; its sale, Paris 1775, N°244, like Veronese, bought by Boileau.
