DE SULLY Bust on the left of Maximilien de Béthune, Duke of Sully, draped and armoured, carrying a large strawberry. Uniface Condition: SUP+ - Rare: R Material : Bronze Diameter: 118.0 mm - Weight: 256.10 g - Axis: 12 h Equipped with a suspension ring on the reverse, superb single-face cast iron, probably dating from the Second Empire, made in the Dartigues workshops in Toulouse. Maximilien de Béthune, duke of Sully (1559-1641), sovereign prince of Henrichemont and Boisbelle, baron then marquis of Rosny, marquis of Nogent-le-Rotrou, count of Muret and Villebon, viscount of Meaux was a minister of Henri IV.
