Exceptional, important and fine NAIN HABIBIAN (Iran) wool and silk. Circa 1980 Dimensions: 327 x 200 cm. Technical characteristics: Velvet made of silky wool of high quality lambskin, flowers surrounded by silk on a cotton foundation. Remarkable fineness. Density: Approx. 9500 knots per dm2. Good general condition. Sky blue field with branches and scrolls of flowering palmette garlands surrounded by fine crenellated branches with finely drawn foliage stems adorned with a large central floral rosette with a flowery crown. Four ivory spandrels with ivory ruby and old gold floral bulbs Triple borders, the main one beige with interlacing palmettes and stylised floral buds
