Text: "We Charles-Ferdinand, Duke of Berry (...) General of the Chasseurs à cheval et Lanciers, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Army in Belgium; certifying that Mr Chevigné, bodyguard, Grammont Company followed the King to Belgium, that he was part of the Corps under my command, and that he gave proof of loyalty, zeal and devotion to the service of His Majesty". Folds, traces of moisture, but good general condition.
