Author of bawdy songs and drinking songs. The Vaudevires. Poems of the 15th century, with a speech about life, and notes for the explanation of some old words. Vire (printed in Avranches by F. Le court), 1811; in-8, period calf (rubbed and epidermishedron with bits), smooth decorated back. (36 ff.) 131 pages. Rare edition published at the expense of ten inhabitants of Vire whose names appear on the back of the title. Only 148 copies were printed on different papers, this one on bluish paper. Autograph sent from Le Normand (one of the publishers) to Mr Gauthier, president of the criminal court of Calvados.
