Papers removed from his Cabinet on the night of 4-5 May 1821 and published by Edwige Santiné, former bailiff of Napoleon Bonaparte's Cabinet on St. Helena, followed by valuable notes on the last six months of Napoleon's life. Paris, Germain Mathiot, September 1821. In-8, green Russian half leather with corners, smooth spine with gold thread, yellow edges (Binding at the time). Original edition Author of pamphlets against Napoleon and his family, Charles Doris, from Bourges, could conceal the identity of several authors. Drujon (p. 26) notes that many people believed at the time that Doris was the mask of Bourrienne; without any proof.
