Important letter on the controversy between Jean-Paul Sartre and Camus about The Revolted Man, which led to their break-up. Signed autograph letter addressed to Ernest Raynaud, known as Robert Tréno, journalist and future director of Le Canard enchaîné. "Dear Tréno, Thank you for your friendly proposal. If I had had to answer, F. T. would have been the right person to do so. But I cannot follow Modern Times, and their little allies, on the ground they have chosen. Let them sell this "heartbreaking" correspondence through advertisements. I shake your hand, very cordially Albert Camus P.S. I have just read Georges' article, and I am very touched.
