Exceptional, important and fine Kachan Mortachem. Iran. End of 19°. Workshop of the famous Mortachemi. Technical characteristics: Silky lambswool velvet of quality on cotton foundations. Density. Approx. 10000 knots per dm². Remarkable fineness. Collector s item. Beige field with garlands and rinceaux of stylized flowers and foliage framing a central polylobed floral rosette in the shape of a stylized diamond on a ruby background with cartouches. Slight natural oxidation. Fairly good condition. Dimensions. 300 x 220 cm.
