Fine Hereke silk brocaded with gold threads Turkey circa 1975. Technical characteristics: Silk velvet embroidered with golden threads on silk foundation. Remarkable fineness. Density. Approx. 13000/14000 knots per dm². Field of golden threads with compositions of orange flowers and almond green foliage framing a central medallion with coral and salmon stylized coral flower crown in the shape of a diamond. Four spandrels recalling the central medallion. Five borders including the main one with gilded threads interlaced with flowery palmettes. Good general condition. Dimensions: 130 x 090 cm.
