Big and pretty thin Kachan. Iran. Circa 1980. Technical characteristics: Lambswool velvet on cotton foundation. Density. Approx. 7000 knots per dm². Ruby field with decoration of ramages and volutes of multicoloured flowered palmettes decorated with a central old gold and turquoise floral medallion in the shape of an elongated stylized diamond. Four spandrels with polychrome floral crowns. Five borders, the main one in midnight blue with interlacing bulbs and stylized floral buds. Good general condition. Dimensions: 320 x 195 cm.
