In-4, half brown basane, fawn basane boards, decorated spine, red edges, lining and endpapers from Augsburg (Binding from the 18th century). Moreau, t. II, n°1828. - Renouard, Josse Bade, t. II, p. 468, n°9. Copy of the Parisian edition given by Josse Bade in 1517, the title placed in a woodcut frame. Les Nuits attiques is the most famous collection by Aulu-Gelle, 2nd century Roman grammarian. The binding, lined with a fine specimen of gilt paper from Augsburg, was made in the 18th century abroad, probably in a workshop across the Rhine. Large bookplate General J. Doreau, dated 1932. Moulding on the title and a few leaves. Yellowed title page, consolidated in the inner margin, traces of verses touching the first 22 leaves, removing letters from the text and headlines. Very used binding.
