DORNIER by HANHART (PILOT STOPWATCH / HYDRAVION - DO/ X), ca. 2000 Pilot's chronograph, a tribute to the famous aircraft manufacturer Claude Dornier and to the DOX seaplane of the 1930s (the largest and fastest seaplane of the time, with no less than 12 engines). Large steel case, with side protection and bevelled pushers. Sapphire crystal case-back with apparent balance cut out with the brand logo. Onyx cabochon crown. Copper-coloured steel dial with two counters (calculation of hours at 6 o'clock, large seconds hand with logo and a dial at 12 o'clock that allows the calculation of fuel consumption and a graduation rule for landing) date window at 3 o'clock. Superluminova luminescent hour-markers and hands. Strap in crocodile (Crocodylia spp. CITES appendix II B) with original pin buckle. Movement. ETA / VALJOUX 7750 Swiss self-winding mechanical calibre. Diam. 42 mm. Condition: Very nice (original leather and paper case).
