An ivory field with polychrome flower buds serves as a support for a multicoloured zodiacal medallion, in the centre of which an oriental galant scene can be seen, in a typically Persian setting. Six counter borders with flowers and chess pieces frame the main ivory field with a garland of multicoloured flowers in the shape of a "boteh". Ivory braid.
