TABRIZ woven in the workshops of the master weaver DJAFFER (Persia), late 19th century.
Your dominant pastel for this piece, where on a Parma mandorla background is placed an ivory, oblong and polylobé medallion with a turquoise cruciform heart. The whole being covered with flowering stems. The four ivory "draped" spandrels have the same vegetal decoration. Two brick counterborders with floral compositions frame the main ivory with foliage and floral scrolls. Great poetry.
