TABRIZ (Persia), mid-20th century A magnificent medallion in mandorla, polylobé, ivory, with an oblong marine centre decorated with multicoloured flowers, is placed, along with its pendants, on two octagonal, bright red and marine nesting fields with polychrome flowers. The ivory spandrels have the same decoration. The main navy border with polychrome floral compositions is flanked by six blue, old gold and chestnut counterborders with garlands of flowers.
