KOULA MÉZERLIK (Asia Minor), 3rd third of the 19th century
A marine mihrab in ogive, decorated with mausoleums (Mezerlik) and with a symbolic hanging flower, is placed on an ivory field, sown with pastel flowers. Upper lintel, steel, floral. Three warmly coloured, vegetalized counter-borders frame six bands with vegetal speckles. (Wear and tear, restorations, as is)
