Rare vase representing a woman Her rounded belly, protruding navel and squatting position, legs spread apart, suggest childbirth. She is holding her hands to her face. The triangular face is decorated with body paint forming two arches around the eyes and cheeks. The belly is painted with symbolic motifs. A similar work is in the Denver Art Museum (Object ID: 1993.719).
