Plate in polychrome painted enamel and translucent enamels on straw mats with gold highlights, representing the equestrian Emperor Vespasian on a white horse carrying thunderbolts and the scepter of Imperator.
It is depicted on a black background stitched with gold, resting on a green mound punctuated with foliage.
