Two-toothed fork in gilt red, the ferrule decorated with filigree silver rinceaux, the ivory handle carved with three overlapping putti holding fruits and a horn of plenty. Flanders or Germany, mid 17th century. L.: 18 cm. A set of cutlery including a spoon, knife and fork with similar decoration is known to have been preserved in the Louvre Museum in Paris (Inv.
