Head from a statue probably representing the god Zeus or Jupiter. He wears a beard and a hairstyle composed of long wavy locks encircled by a ribbon. The back part of the hair is distributed on either side of a median parting. The wide-open eyes and powerful eyebrow arches give the work great strength. White marble. Deep brown colouring and calcareous deposit. Visible splinters otherwise very well preserved.
