First edition: portrait of Goethe engraved by Langlois after Carl Mayer printed on mounted china, a title vignette on wood and 9 plates without text engraved on copper by Langlois and Lévy after Tony Johannot. The latter are all printed on mounted china and do not bear the name of the printer. Copy in surbe condition, both binding and text.
