Fine silk Ghoum signed (Iran) circa 1980
Silk velvet on silk foundations. Beige field with a large floral crown finely drawn pale green and salmon pink inlaid with a central floral star-shaped rosette in the same tones as the central crown. Four spandrels reminiscent of the central medallion.
Triple borders of which the main salmon-pink one has seeded with old gold flowered palmettes.
Density. Approx. 11000 knots per sq. dm2
