Powerful and impressive fetish statue of Songye village, with a rare presence, short and stocky legs. The nose and mouth are surrounded by copper plates as well as the temples. The torso is treated in convex and concave flatness. The arms are glued to the torso and pierced with holes that allowed the object to be presented without ever touching it. A blade is inserted into the top of the skull. Some remains of fetish material. The forehead is pierced with a horn, the chin is adorned with a braided beard.
