FRUIT VASE Nazca Culture, Southern Peru Intermediate Ancient, 100-700 A.D. H. 10 cm - W. 13 cm Ceramic with reddish-brown and brick-red slip, pale pink, brown-black and creamy-white ornamental paint. Vase consisting of four ovoid vessels, two of which are topped by a small truncated cone-shaped neck and connected by a handle. Star-shaped painted decoration on the neck. Surface wear and tear, small visible chips. Provenance : - Franco Monti collection, 1960-1970.
