Brass desk clock with a finely chiselled golden patina on its square base in black marble, representing "Atlas carrying the world". White enamelled dial with three counters with day and date display. Mechanical movement, key-wound, with its delicately openworked cockerel with foliated decoration. Dial and movement signed Breguet. Early 19th century work. Possible winding (as is). Height: 26.5 cm. Gilding wear, missing central second hand, hand not original, small enamel accidents on the dial, small chips on the marble.
