This catalogue of the King's Cabinet, here in its original edition of 1727, is a great rarity. Until now the market has only known the copy of the second edition of 1743 from the former Jean Furstemberg-Otto Schäfer collection (Cat. IV, no. 91), which was later passed on to the collection of Jacques Bemberg (Cat. I, no. 60). Of this 1727 edition, BnF presents only one copy bound in a modern bradel.
