CHEVALLEY, Étienne (Lausanne 1920-1979), poet, writer and musician from Vaud. Set of typed poems, dated between 1947 and 1949. 20 poems (le Vagabond, Sonate pour la connaissance, Fleuves, Blessure, Ode à la solitude, etc.) and an article ("Trésor de l'art vénitien IV", 9 pp.). 2 poems have a handwritten quotation at the top, probably from the author's own hand, one by André Gide for "Fleuves", the other by Gustave Roud for "Blessure". Finally, the author has crossed out the title of "Soir seul" to rename it "Marée". Attached are the press clippings of the first 3 articles of the "Treasures of Venetian Art" published in a Lausanne newspaper in 1947.
