Boundary clock in chased ormolu and gilt brass with matte and bright chiselled brass representing an allegory of summer with a standing horn of plenty holding a serpent and ears of wheat, agricultural tools at its sides. It is leaning against a bollard containing the movement, the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals for the hours, railroad for the minutes. Rectangular base resting on four pebbled feet with a scaly motif, decorated in bas-relief with harvesting putti. Mechanical movement with key winding and modified suspension in Brocot. Restoration period, first half of the 19th century. 44.5 x 34 x 13 cm. Gilding wear, one hand missing, stains on the dial, without glass.
