Brooch in the shape of a lily-of-the-valley branch in yellow gold (56 zolotniks / 583), with movable bells adorned with old cut and pink diamonds, set grain on silver (min. 800). Pin in yellow gold (56 zolotniks / 583). Title and goldsmith's markings: T.P. in Cyrillic, probably for Philip Theodore RINGE (1824-1894), chief of workshop for FABERGE and independent goldsmith. His widow continued his activity until the beginning of the 20th century. SAINT PETERSBOURG, around 1890-1900. Gross weight: 5,1 g. - Length: 6,1 cm. Some scratches. This brooch model was often made, at the end of the 19th century, by Russian goldsmiths and in particular by the Fabergé House, decorated with precious or semi-precious stones. The hallmark of our brooch could be the Cyrillic mark of Philip Theodore RINGE (1824-1894), following the example of Julius RAPPOPORT (1864-1916), another Fabergé workshop manager, who had his hallmark in Latin and Cyrillic script.
