In-8, 8 ff. (including the title-frontispiece), 641 pp. and 23 ff.n.ch. (the last white): wove vellum, double gilt fillet, coat of arms in the centre, smooth spine decorated, gilt edges (contemporary binding).
First edition given by the Dutch grammarian Corneille Schrevel (1615-1664), according to Saumaise's corrections.
It is decorated with a nice title-frontispiece engraved on copper by Reinier van Persyn.
A vellum copy with the arms of Jerome I Bignon (1589-1656), successor of François-Auguste de Thou as Grand Master of the King's Bookshop in 1642.
